The NavCom Digital Iridium HardCase is a portable docking unit for use with the Iridium 9505a satellite phone. Easily transported and installed, the Iridium HardCase was designed so that users can enjoy the versatility of a portable satellite phone while also allowing for convenient use of satellite service in interior environments such as buildings, land vehicles, offshore vessels and platforms. The Iridium HardCase significantly increases reliability of the Iridium satellite service with an external antenna. The hands-free capabilities of the Iridium HardCase let you drive in comfort and safety while using your Iridium phone. With the Digital Signal Processing technology, the voice quality and comfort of use have never been greater. The Iridium HardCase has built-in capabilities to use all features of your Iridium phone and service such as voice communications, text messaging, data transfer, e-mail, voicemail and call holding/forwarding. The HardCase is based on the rugged Pelican Products 1400 Case. This structural resin case is waterproof, dust-proof, and crushproof for maximum protection when transporting in any environment. This case features an automatic pressure relief valve and a lifetime warranty. The NavCom Digital Iridium SoftCase is a portable docking unit for use with the Iridium 9505a satellite phone. Designed to be easily transported, the SoftCase combines an Iridum portable docking kit with a custom made, rugged ballistic nylon case. Installation of the satellite phone is as easy as placing the portable handset into the mounting cradle, plugging in the power adapter (either AC or 12VDC), and attaching an external antenna with a clear view of the sky. The SoftCase allows use of the satellite phone within an enclosure that would normally require a fixed satellite phone. The NavCom Digital Iridium SoftCase significantly increases reliability of the Iridium satellite service with an external antenna. The hands-free capabilities of the Iridium SoftCase let you drive in comfort and safety while using your Iridium phone. With the Digital Signal Processing technology, the voice quality and comfort of use have never been greater. The Iridium SoftCase has built-in capabilities to use all features of your Iridium phone and service such as voice communications, text messaging, data transfer, e-mail, voicemail and call holding/forwarding. The SoftCase is powered by a 12 volt DC or 110-220 volt AC power with included adapters. There is a convenient green LED power-on indicator. As an added feature that is unique to the SoftCase, NavCom Digital designed the ISC-9505a to fit precisely within the rugged Pelican 1450 hard case. In effect a 'combo case,' this allows the SoftCase to be conveniently made waterproof and crushproof.
